BanBan
A macOS desktop-pet prototype that uses local camera cues and a personal baseline to raise yellow or red cards as reminders to pause.
BanBan targets workers who may struggle to express mounting stress, including employees with intellectual or developmental disabilities and people who work long hours at a desk. The macOS prototype calibrates a calm personal baseline and observes facial changes locally.
Sustained thresholds and cooldown rules trigger yellow- or red-card desktop-pet reminders. The camera can be disabled and an optional monitoring panel is described. Facial inference, privacy behavior and supportive effects remain creator claims rather than independently tested outcomes.
